MEDITATION RUGS

This beautiful Purple mediation rug is made with single thread acrylic wool. Therefore it is quite flexible. It can be used as sofa decoration, yoga prop, seat warmer, a pillow and meditation rug. Maybe there are more ways to use it, let me know:).

Purple can really pop with it's opposite colour yellow or different colours with opposit tones. For blending purposes, colours that are similar to the ones used in the rug, and similar in tone.

The colors used are based on 2 of my favorite things, the sea and flowers. I used red as it fits so well with green. These colors can really play with each other. Because of this  it will blend with all colours used most in the rug. If the wish is for it to stand out, then reds would work well. Playing with different tones can also provide for great aesthetics.

This rug is made with double threads of acrylic wool. This makes the rug stiffer than a single thread rug, and warmer. Because of the double thread  blending colors is possible, giving it more gradient options.

 

With pink, many options are possible. Because pink is made of red, the opposite color would be greenish. So if the desired effect is to have it standout, play with greens and blues. yet other colors would work beautifully as well. Blending could be achieved with similar colors and tones. Al I can say is enjoy the exploration!
